Here is our timeline of everything we have done to get to Porter and the expenses related to it!

June 25th - I saw Porter plastered all over the blog world!  My heart knew that he was our son.  I started the contact with Reece's Rainbow and our social worker.

July 6th - Background checks done for our home study....$40.00

July 4th - We listed our truck for sale.

July 7th - We sold our truck!

July 12th - Mailed off our Reece's Rainbow Commitment Fee and donation to their "Voice of Hope Fund....$1,275.00

July 16th - Ordered Katelyn's birth certificate and two copies of our marriage certificate....$128.00

July 17th - Passport pictures taken....$9.98

July 20th - I visited my doctor and got the necessary documents filled out and notarized....$20.00

July 20th - We applied for our passports....$270.00

July 21st - Started our adoption education....$120.00

July 25th - State police clearance checks done....$116.00

August 2nd - Curtis visited his doctor and got his medical documents filled out and notarized....$20.00

August 21st - First set of documents apostilled....$200.00

August 29th - Wired our facilitation team to start translation of documents....$500.00

August 31st - Home study visit completed....$1,500.00

September 7th - Home study complete and USCIS application sent in....$890.00

September 10th - Second half of documents apostilled....$240.00

October 2nd - 171H Form Apostilled....$10.00
